Getting around

Although it is possible to get out and about using the local buses, we recommend hiring a car as the best way to see the local area

1. Gumusluk harbour

A former fishing village with traditional craft market and seafood restaurants on the harbourside, and the causeway walk to Monkey Island...

2. Yalikavak harbour Local arts and crafts, small sandy beach and a good choice of restaurants and bars overlooking the harbour. A short stroll from the modern marina and upmarket shops.

3. Nightlife Both Yalikavak and Bodrum come alive at night time - sample cocktails, dancing and much much more into the early hours.

4. Guluk adventure

We can arrange private hire of a guluk (traditional sailing boat) for your party - there is no better way to enjoy the coastline and enjoy homecooked Turkish fare.

5. Traditional markets Yalikavak has a weekly market that sells everything from fresh fruit and vegetables to leather goods, homeware and much much more.

6. Sun, sea and sand There are many beaches around the Bodrum peninsular that are worth a visit - this one is at Ortakent - where there are plenty of watersports for hire.
